Children In Need was founded in 1968 by employees of the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) with the County of San Diego. CIN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

How To Apply
Step 1: Pick out the sport, camp, or other enrichment program prior to applying, as checks are made out to the vendor. Request for equipment, please send a screenshot of online cart with items, be sure to total the amount requested.
Step 2: Download application (yellow button above).
Step 3:
Complete the application, through “mail check to” section.
Note on Case Number:

Foster Parents: your social worker can complete and submit the application on your behalf.

Applicants based on financial need: please put case number for CalFresh, CalWorks, or other Health and Human Services Agency Program.
Step 4:
Email application as an attachment to: childreninneedsd@gmail.com
Checks are made out to the vendor and mailed to the parent.
